Your privacy is important to us. Here's how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy outlines how Build Launch collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information submitted through our website, application portal, and in the course of providing our recruitment and offshore staffing services. It is intended to align with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information generated through your use of our website and services.

  • Name, email, phone number, and employment-related information you voluntarily provide.
  • Uploaded documents such as resumes, portfolios, and certifications.
  • Company and business details provided by construction businesses engaging our services.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, and website usage data, collected automatically when you visit our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process your application and match your qualifications with job opportunities.
  • To communicate with you regarding next steps, interviews, and placements.
  • To connect construction businesses with suitable Digital Experts.
  • To improve our website, services, and the overall experience of using them.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We may share information with construction businesses you are being considered for placement with, so they can assess your suitability.
  • We may share information with trusted service providers who support our operations (such as hosting and communication tools), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Storage & Security

We store your data securely in our private systems and do not share it with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. International Data Transfers

Build Launch connects construction businesses around the world with a global network of Digital Experts. As a result, personal information may be stored, processed, or accessed in countries other than the one where you are located. Wherever this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected in accordance with this Policy.

6. Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our site (such as pages viewed, time spent, and how visitors arrived) so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies, and information it collects may be processed by Google on servers outside Australia.

We also use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant Build Launch ads to people who have visited our website. The Meta Pixel uses cookies and shares information about your visit (such as pages viewed and whether you submitted an enquiry) with Meta, which may process it outside Australia.

Analytics and advertising measurement run for all visitors to our website. You can opt out at any time using the "Opt out of analytics" link in the footer of every page, by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by adjusting your browser settings to refuse cookies. Opting out does not affect your ability to use our website.

We also use Snitcher, a business visitor identification service, to understand which businesses visit our website. Snitcher uses the IP address of each visit to identify the organisation it comes from (for example, a company's office network), along with the pages viewed. It is used to identify businesses, not individual visitors. Because this works from IP addresses rather than cookies, it applies to all visits, including those that have opted out of analytics; opting out stops Snitcher from using cookies to recognise you on later visits.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, including meeting legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request access, updates, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@buildlaunch.com.au. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals of legal working age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. Any updates will be posted on this page, along with a revised effective date.
